Hi All..Quick Question for y'all

I got a 96 Dak with a 5.2, true dual Exhaust, K&N extreme filter, Mopar Performance 'Brain', with about 85000 miles..
My question is this...would replacing the stock injectors with aftermarket one do anything for me?
If so, any suggestions?
Thanks

Not at your current status. You'd need more mods and be gunning for a good bit more power before needing higher capacity injectors.

Drop some STP concentrated injector cleaner in the tank about every 5000 miles. My '92 5.2 still had the original injectors at 217,000 miles following that procedure.

Most seem to feel that adding a better intake manifold and throttle body would be the next thing to do. However, personally, I'd get the most of what I already had by perking up the tranny with a TransGo kit. Gears? Got limited slip rear? Then I'd look at opening the engine for a better intake. If you plan on upping the HP, now is the time to upgrade the injectors. (If not, just get headers). You can install the injectors in the new intake (and performance throttle body) and put it on all ready to go. Once better breathing is established, pop the valve covers and put HD springs and 1.7 roller rockers on. Throw a set of HD Mopar Performance pushrods in there ($32 at Mancini Racing). Just remember that if you do this, and later decide to get a cam anyway, make sure to factor in the higher ratio rockers when choosing a cam. With just the rockers you'll be close to the Magnum RT cam in valve lift figures. Remember, the 5.2 has a higher lift cam than the 5.9. Naturally, a set of ceramic coated headers will only compliment the overall package.

Yeah, gotta pop the tranny pan. Good time to change oil/filter. Mot much choice in the matter if you wanna mod the tranny.
