I am about to swap my 3.21 gear for a 4.10 and am just wondering how much this has dropped the e.t. of people who have already done this.

I have the 4.10's. I need more info to help you though. What year is your truck, is it 4x4 or 4x2, tire size, auto or manual?

Just looking for another person who has done a gear swap: such as 3.55 to 3.92 or 3.21 to 3.92 or 4.10 and how much quicker they got.

It depends on the rear tire size. I am running a 3:55 rear with a trac-lok and 255/50/16's on a 5spd 4.7 CC Sport and the gear is low enough to outrun a 2002 Mustang 5spd GT in the 1/4 and still get decent gas mileage and towing. 5 speeds have a lower first gear and maybe even second being a little lower you may not want to drop all the way to a 4.10, that's a really low gear!

I recently changed from a 3.55 open rear to a 3.92 with trac-loc. I have 275/60/15's and it is great. I would not go back to the old setup.

i think its the 5 speed vs auto thing that keeps most of us from putting those in. I have 3.55s on an 01 and am afraid i wont get a good launch with 4.10s. ill just end up spinning that beast
