I've read many posts on here and I am convinced that I want to get the KB Flash. I have a 2001 rc 4.7. I added a homebrew intake, 3" exhaust, Autolite 3923 plugs, 180 t-stat, will soon have a 72 mm TB, and have MANY mods planned in future. The PCM Flash, is it an actualy piece that is put on the engine or does someone actually do something to the computer? Also, if I had it flashed now, and then added a bunch of mods (h.o. cam & intake, headers, injectors, port and polish heads, and nitrous), would I have to get the computer flashed again or can I just reset it like I do now with the key in the ignition? What should i do first before the flash if it has to be reflashed after each mod?

Sorry for so many questions in one post, just curious about this before i do anything.

You send your stock computer to KB and they 'flash' (change the timing and fuel maps(?)) then send it back to you. Yes, if you do more mods, it would be best to get another flash. The best way to go is the Accel DFI or F.A.S.T. systems. Then you can tune it yourself when ever you want. But it costs a lot of $$$'s. I think krcperformance.com has info about an engine mangagement system.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Spintech true duals, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.
