has anyone here ever tried the electric supercharger? I seen it for $300 but wanted to here some feedback before considering it.

Don't bother. The gains aren't worth the price. If you want to spend that much money on an intake check out roar inc. There intake is supposed to be worth 13rwhp. They have electric attachments as well. I don't have one but would love to see some real gains. For now I'm satisfied with my z-tube.

They don't work. What they are selling is actually a marine bilge fan. If you do the math and figure out just how much CFM you need to boost an engine to 6psi, you'll see that these things don't even come close. Electric turbos have been tried in the past. But you need such a huge electric motor that it's not economical.

Go to 360airintakez.com for a good intake. I got my z-tube used at an excellent price and about brand new. They run about $250 for a 4.7L intake. The 360airintake runs about $170 I think. Or you could build your own out of 3-4" ABS piping. Depends on if you want looks or not. I was just lazy and had the money at the time.

Yea, we used one of those bilge pumps on our double chamber, single in, single out, stainless steel,..................bongs! Worked really well!
