 Subject: O2 Sensor Wire, Please Help:-)

I have the 4 wire O2 sensor on my 98 5.2L Dak. Please someone let me know the 0-1V lead, my wire colors are 2 whites, a gray, a black. All but the black show continuity to ground and black shows 4.5v's when the ignition is on. None of them show 12V's hot at anytime.
I guessed and tried one of the two white's that showed 0.45mv with the ignition on but it was not the right wire, my A/F meter shows nothing.

From the O2 Sensor side:
(1) WHITE = 12VDC Engine Running
(2) WHITE = Chassis Ground
(3) GRAY = O2 PCM Ground
(4) BLACK = High Impedence PCM (Signal Wire)
Look at the end of the O2 sensor and you'll see the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 on there. The numbers above match the O2 sensor.

Thought I let everyone know, Bernd hooked me up with the color codes on the phone. Here is the scoop for anyone else tapping into the O2 Sensors.
Screw going under the truck, on my 98 5.2L Bernd looked it up and on the connector closest to the Firewall the Orange/Black is the after cat sendor, while the Orange/Tan(looks gray) is the before cat O2 Sensor.
Thanks Bernd, and I hope this helps some other folks out.

Yup...did it on my '97 as well...works bitchin'. :)
(Keep in mind that the color codes will vary from year to year...but the '97-'99 use the same colors.)
