What did your r/t run bone stock. I ran my RC R/T 2 weeks ago and turned a what I felt was dissappointing 15.54. This was on street tires with a 2.101 60' time. Is this normal or should I expect better? Before I bought my r/t I had a Stang that ran 10.90's. Perhaps I'm expecting too much? Post some times.

Your biggest problem is that you have no headers to let the K&N and M1 breathe. You might want to also consider eliminating/hollowing the cats. With the headers and no cats, you'll probably run high 13's or so with good traction and cool temps. I've got a '99rc, with: 4:56's,FIPK,M1-2bbl,52mm tb,Mopar PCM,e-fan,JBA shorties w/ y-pipe,no cat, underdrive pullies,180 t-stat,re-located battery. I was running 14.50's prior to: M1,52mm tb,pullies,e-fan,gears, and battery relocation. That was in 50deg. air and low humidity. I'm hoping for 13.80's or so with traction on Oct.4th up at Mid-Michigan Motorplex. Good luck, -Justin

Well, high 13's might be wishful thinking.....14.30's/40's are a little more realistic. Get some headers though! -Justin

i have a 02 reg cab R/T and with 20,000 miles i ran a 15.1@89 stock exept with a flowmaster 40series in place of the stocker. I now have nitto 450 extreme tires, k&n drop in filter, removed 3rd cat, and traction bars. I think i might do a 14.9 now.

Yeah, I'll be there! Looking forward to meeting some other R/Ters and people from the boards that I've talked to but never gotten to meet! I'm trying like hell to find a pair of slicks before the meet- time's running out though.....I'm afraid of not being able to break into the 13's without them because I just got some 4.56's....I'll see you there man! What's your truck look like? -Justin
