Hi guys,

My name is Ben and I have been a long time lurker of these forums. Well this is my delema. On September 8th I ordered my loaded and amped thunderfrom for my 2000 dakota CC from EliteCustoms.com. At first I was warry of ordering from jonas but I have heard from many mebers here that he is a great person to deal with. I was originaly going to order from nexxon.com but I was told by many never to order from there.

Part I - The order. So I e-mailed Jonas back and forth for a few days and I finaly desided to order from him (his price $435.00 shipped!). Well when i called Jonas answered and was VERY helpfull and profesional. I was quite please he took my credit card # and my address and promptly e-mailed me a my reseet ( Ok so everything was going great. I was preparing to move up to my college and I awaited my package. So the next monday comes around and I have no package. N/P I said probably just a day late. But just to be sure I called Jonas back to make sure.

Part II - Iritation insues. Upon getting ahold of jonas he said that the item was on backorder and that it would be shipped in 2 day MAX! UGG I was upset but I understood. Sometimes things don't always go right. Jonas told me that On wendnessday (the 17th) he would e-mail me a copy of my tracking # and all would be well. saddened by the news and the fact that I resived NO NOTICE ABOUT THE BACKORDER I awaited my tracking #.

Part III Meltdown. well wendnessday arrived and I was sent no tracking # or other e-mails. So i called again. This time to only get the answering machene. Ok I will just leave a message and they will e-mail or call me back right??? WRONG!!! Thursday I called eary in the morning No answer. I called again later in the after noon. NO ANSWER. ok ok ok not a problem they are probably out for the day I an sure that if I leave an e-mail I will get a reply. so off to the net I go. I write a though e-mail regarding the where abouts of my package. Well anyone who has ordered from elitecustoms.com knows that if you e-mail there company you will instantly recive an e-mail back to verify that it was recived. I got my verification and i sat back and waited.

Part IV - Nuclear winter. well gentelmen (and women) here I am. almost 2 weeks have passed since I have been able to reach jonas. I have left 7 emails!!! 5 phone messages!!!!! and I have made a total of 53 CALLS!!! once every hour that they have been open. today is wednessday the 24. I am moving up to my college to start school. I can no longer wait here from my package. I have not ONCE had a call returned or a e-mail responded too. I have NO package and I am leaving. This is TOTALY UNACEPTABLE!!! So you fine people are my last resort befor I have to call the better buissness bureu. Please if you know of ANY way to reach elitecustoms, jonas, or his boss John PLEASE I beg of you reply. I still very much want my package. but now I will have to dirve 2 hours south to come back and pick it up from my home. All I realy want it to know it HAS BEEN SENT and where it is.

I thank anyone who had the resolve to read my entire article. I still belive that jonas and elitecustoms are a good company and will do the right thing but like I have said thoughout my post this is unaceptable.

Sorry I just feel that jonas is a good man but the companys actions are unaccetible. I am just looking for advice and I am a bit upset about other personal problems. Sorry if my post was a bit incoherent.

Congrats! You've been shafted! I've been through problems with them before(over a year and still not fully resolved) and one of my best friends is currently being screwed by them as well. Just stay away.

Ben, I'm one of the 11 people who hasn't received a Thunderform either. I am going to try to call him today and if I can't get through, I'm getting a lawyer and I think you should too.

BUT, he responded to my emails 3-4 days ago and it said

"Sorry for the delay Matt, we've been calling MTX everyday trying to get an update on the orders. We currently have 11 outstanding orders for ThunderForms from MTX and they have been on backorder. Everytime we contact them they claim to have shipped the units but nothing has. As of this morning, MTX claims to have all models of the Dakota ThunderForms back in stock and shipping to wholesellers ASAP. Once they arrive, they will be sent back out on the same truck shipment."

Yeah thats bullsh*t. Let me know if he responds to you Ben. Incase this does lead to court, we have 2 people so far to bring his ass down!

OK guys, here is what is going on.
Besides selling Dakota parts, Jonas sell
custom motorcycles. Well he sold a $25K bike
to a guy in California. The guy was smart.
Jonas let him buy it with his credit card. The
guy did'nt like the bike, so the credit card
company charged back the 25K on Jonas's
bank account. End of story. He had already
spent the money. So he's gone. For his
customers that used a credit card, you have
recourse, through the credit card company.
For those who paid with a ATM card or a
check, your out of luck. For the vendors that
trusted Jonas, your out of luck. Lesson
Learned, PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD!!!!!

I've never had a problem with Jonas..matter of fact he has been great. But, thanks to my dealings with Truckperformance.com if I can't buy it locally I don't need it! Internet is just got too many scam artist to trust anyone. Now with that being said, places like Summit and Jegs are a pretty safe bet...but use a credit card.

But instead of calling the people he has
stiffed. He's dodging them. He will tell you he's
is going to school and working two jobs to get
caught up. That is fine, but he could have
called everybody and explained his situation.
Not that it is going to make things better, but at

I do not with to sue jonas or his company I just with to GET MY THUNDERFORM. I would like to know what is going on and when I will get it. As I have told you guys I have moved up to college and will have to return home to pick it up. Like I said I just want my package. This is seriously why I simply stopped going to the boards, it changed from a helful thing to a gossip column.

Ben, your Thunderform is on backorder. Ill be MORE THEN HAPPY to issue you a simply refund and you can try to get one somewhere else.

Matt, yours is on the way to you, you have been emailed a tracking number.

Let me explain to everyone how this works; When you order a product, I order the product from the manufactuer THE SAME DAY. If the manufactuer dropships then it ships to you straight from them, if they dont it comes here and then goes back out to you THE SAME DAY IT ARRIVES. If the manufactuer doesnt have it in stock (backorder) then the order is placed and when the product is ready it then ships out. Pretty plain and simple.

Granted, we are not Crutchfield with hundreds of employees who can answer every single call and email instantly. I do apoligize as we have had an unreasonible amount of down time with our servers lately, thus we did infact switch hosing providers and are all resetup and ready to go. This could possibly have had some effect on the receipt of emails.

Eric, my sign is up, my lights are on, we are doing installs daily, my site is up, email works, phones are on, and Im writing checks monthly for the bills... Im pretty sure along with the business license hanging on the wall that Im still in business. I did however, for the betterment of the company, change servers, get rid of the Premier Automotive remainders, etc.. Who told you we were out of business? I think I have a shady competitor...

Matt, I dont wish to get into this any further with you.. but listen.. settle down.. Come on down to the shop any day you want, the use of f*ucker, the BBB, and driving to my shop (unless you just want to come see it and vistit) are alittle over the edge dont you think?

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you. Note, I was going to have to get a lawyer if I did NOT recieve my package! I thought I got screwed because NOONE would return my emails, phone calls, etc.

I have sent about 10 emails and left 5 messages. YES, I am very pissed off because I did NOT and still haven't received my Thunderform when I was promised. I bought this from you because of 2 reasons:
1. You are located very close to me. Therefore, I would receive my product faster and less money on shipping.

2. You had a very cheap price. $285 is cheap as hell, but still is not worth getting screwed. As long as I have a guarantee that I will receive my product, I'll shut the f*ck up and stop my bitching

I am now relieved and happy that I have been responded to. I don't think that driving to your shop is over the edge. I would only take the trip to the shop if I did NOT receive this. I didn't plan on taking the damn trip to give any type of threat whatsoever. I figured I had to be responded to in person. I have given 3 weeks. I know its probably not your fault that MTX has these on back order, but I wish I would've known that before I bought it. I'm sorry we got off on the wrong page, but I thought that I lost money. And even if I did lose money, I wasn't going to just forget about it. I had to make some sort of action about it.

Hopefully now everyone, including myself, can forget about this now that I know its coming.

I understand your frusteration and in your position I would be a bit angry as well. Some advice.. a lawyer in this case would be useless and would instantly cost you more money and time then necessary.

We have just added the ability for in our shopping cart for the number of units instock to be displayed upon ordered, as well as an advisory for orders that are on backorder to be displayed before the finialization of the order. To do this (and so much more) we had to change servers for space and time reasons.. so it did throw us off on our emails, infact some from up to 2 weeks ago are coming through now..

If you are only 4 hours away you should then come by the shop sometime and check out the R/T our TT, and the "Hemi Hauler". Also we can offer absolutely free shipping on all products that are picked up here.

We now have 2 email options incase of a server error (which Ive been assure there wont be with out new host)

I am happy he finaly responded to my e-mail. Jonas as you can see I do not with in any way to sue you I just have a LARGE problem with your customer service. You need to me able to call and inform customers if the order is on backorder. To any admin on this sight if you can change my title to "Problems with elitecustoms.com" it would be most apriciated.
