Its been going on for days now. When i start accelerating I notice a loss in power, but then it returns. At first i thought it wasnt anything serious. but its getting a lot worse as the days progress on. Today i put my truck into Park and reved the motor to about 3000 rpms and it bogged twice for me then stopped. Any body have any idea. The truck is a 92 dakota LE with the 5.2 with about 160,000 miles on it. Its also an auto. Thanks for the help.

Geez , could be alot of things. You getting a check engine light ? Id do tune up type stuff and see if it goes away. Plugs , wires , cap n rotor , clean air fliter , oil change.

Check for a dirty fuel filter - power goes away as gas is used, then comes back when more gas makes its way past the dirt.

I changed out the Fuel filter and the oxygen sensor and it looked like it cured the problem. Thanks for the help!

Glad you found your problem. Any of you guys who thought it was a clogged cat care to explain why the power would come back if it was that ?
