How do they work with stock suspension and tires?

I think that you can only buy them direct from Calvert Racing. I have had mine for over a year and the truck would be un-driveable without them. It will still smoke the tires to about 40 mph depending on the pavement, but it goes straight now and dosen't spin an instant 120 degrees faster than you can get your foot off the throttle. The only negative for some people is that they are noisey. Over big bumps you will hear the bang and clatter of the Cal-Tracs over your loud exhaust or anything else nearby.

John Calvert gave me a tip to get rid of the noise. I slipped some heater hose over the bolts. I also preloaded it by jacking the rear up a little.

Sam, they are a bitch to get in if your original bolts are even slightly rusted. Finding new grade 8 bolts gave me a little trouble. Turns out they have them at home depot in one of those plastic bins. They are sold individually in little plastic bags. You may be able to find them elsewhere though. My original bolts were rusted in so bad I had to use a sawzall which I bought just for this job. I went through about 15 blades on each bolt. Needless to say I needed new bushings. They were pretty expensive as well. I think $14 each. I also had to get a press. I traveled about an hour (which was fun since it was in my dak) to get a 20 ton hydraulic bottle press. Oh yeah, I also used all new U-bolts. I have to say, it was one hell of a work out, and i'm very impressed wtih the product. I'm not sure how much different yours will be than mine but if you need help just let me know. The worst part is getting the springs off.

rtdkota,

375? They are $319 new from calvert racing. I planned on buying them because of the discount from nats, until I realized they still were cheaper strait from calvert racing.

If anyone has any used ones for sale let me know. There was a set for sale in the classifieds but the guy never responded my email.

Yeah, the price was suppose to be $275+ shipping. I offered free shipping with the RT meet, and realize now that I goofed on the prices. Heck I paid full price for mine own set.
LMAO.

OH well-- if anyone had ordered, I would have gotten them a refund on that. I haven't promoted them enough yet, and only have a logo, and a small place to order on my website.

Changes coming soon!

You can measure that yourself. I think the triangle brackets that stick down are about 4 inches. If you have 4 inches of clearance below your front spring mount than yes. Just remember that it reduces your ground clearance that much more.

Here's a funny story, I had a plug put in my tire a couple weeks ago and the guy put a jack right onto the trangle bracket of the caltracs. I told him that he shouldnt do that. He didnt get the hint until he tried to rotate the back tire and he noticed the truck starting to fall off the jack. hahah
