Ok, so with all the talk going on with backpressure and dual exhaust and stuff...and not haveing cats, etc...here is my question.

My 1993 cat is TOTALLY dead. I am going to get it fixed soon. Will I notice an increase in low end performance? i.e. pickup, speed going uphill? that kinda stuff? Im just going to get a regular old cat within specs of my truck.

Im sending back the high flow one I bought from truckperformance because NO ONE around here will install it for me. I dont have a welder either...anyways, thanx in advance for answers.

they shouldnt have a problem installing it if your current one is bad, but you should notice a bit of difference

Yeah, and don't limit it to repair shops, try small welding shops too.
