Subject: IAT MOD - Need answer B4 tomorrow
IP: Logged

Message:
I would really like to do this mod tomorrow while I am off.

I read all about building your own IAT adjuster. I don't really feel like going through all this since I don't know how I will tell what temperature it is set at.

Is there a resistor value I can use by itself? I will just wire a switch up to turn the resistor path on or off.

Or do I need the potentiometer so I can experiment for the best performance.

It is a 3.9 liter V6 and with the 100 degree days, it is slow as hell. I notice a huge difference even with a 5-10 degree drop in outside temperature.

Thanks
