Which ones are you going to take out? If it's like the 4.7, the O2 sensors function off the precats. If you remove them, you have to do something to make the sensors think they're still there.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Magnaflow catback, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.

Yep has the same stupid setup as the '02s If you chop off the precats you'll have to get Cat boxes to prevent the computer from going nuts. The O2 sensors in front of the cats stay where they are...the ones after the cats will have to be rewired w/ the boxes.

Big difference w/ the cats off.

thats cool, the cat boxes from KRC work fine dont they? what kind of difference was made without the precats? does each cat box only work for one sensor? or can i put both onto that box? thanks a lot.

Do not remove your 'cats'.

If you remove both your precats then 2 cat boxes have to be bought...one for each side, & yeah the KRC boxes work good, Jegs also carry some too.
Great performance gains w/o the cats.

If you got the heads, cam or a blower to match the dual exhaust then don't get duals.

yea...i want a new cam and a blower...R/T heads would be nice...but cant afford them or the work it would take to put em on...so eventually cam and blower...so no true duals then huh?

You can get a dual catback system if you just have to have some sort of dual system.
