you will notice a difference with it on.The more mods you got the better i believe it will work on your 5.2 but you can check before you bought it.you can email me with any other questions at bam98rt@aol.com.

I have one on my 97 5.2 and the initial feeling was the response off the line. No hesitation like the stock cpu has. I was interested in Mopar's performance computer but it didn't pass the EPA test so they didn't make one for that year. You may want to check the Mopar Performance catalog for your year. I like my jet chip module.

Make sure you get the right application for your engine and year. Go to jetchip.com and look up the correct chip model # for your specifications.
The R/T chips are different than the non R/T chips.

Hell no they are not worth a damn, don't buy one, instead spend your money on balanced fuel injectors, MSD ignition (plugs, wires, coil, and MSD 6AL box - 250$), headers, ooen up your exhaust, under drive pulleys, the list of mods you can do for under 300 dollars is pretty extensive but this is just a start, for each one you do you will see a difference. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY ON A "JET CHIP"
