I just ran tonight and little dissapointed but spinning alot, It was my first time. Best R/T was .485
R/t...702
60...2.382
330...6.785
1/8...10.438
mph...67.42
1000...13.621
1/4...16.342
mph...82.87

this was the best times but I never locked it up. Top end was a little sorry too, think i really need chip or mopar pcm. All the rice burners had nos or turbo and kickin ass, although a charger really ate everyone up. saw a durango do 15.01 in 1/4. my buddy with a 98 manual 318, gibson headers, ported TB, jet chip, spinning tires all day too gettin' 15.7. I guess I need to learn to roll off the line then slam gas. Want a supercharger like herion. Where's the best place to get powerdyne?

Hey, I have a 99 R/T. Ran it at the Darg strip, stomp on the gas -- wheelspin!! It was a MOPAR day, 6 other R/Ts there, too, same story for all of us. Not sure what truck you have, but an R/T has 3.90(?) gears, 360, auto. Old style engine, but tons of low end tourque, add the low gears, GREAT off the line, but no top end. Super fun around town, but not too good for top speed.
I have a 99 Corvette, too. Engine reves to the moon, pulling hard all the way. I think the new engines (4.7-Dodge, 4.6 Ford, etc.) have a lot more potential than the old style 318-360s. Just my 2 cents, ART

cdawg ... fwiw, that's a good time for your mods. Back in 98 when I put mine (Gibson catback & K&N dropin) on the track for the first time, my times were 16.8, 16.7, 16.8. From what I've seen and read of since, I think that you might be disappointed with the ET improvement from a s/c when you consider the money output. If you stay na, an MP PCM and drag tires should drop your ETs around 5/10ths. Almost forgot ... a perfect light is .500 Good luck.
