new plugs wires cap rotor, still fouls last plug on driver side. Runs fine under full throtal, runs like crap at idol and normal driving.

I would check the Idle Air Control that is on the back of the throttle body. Clean it well, but do not push in the plunger. Get you some throttle body cleaner to clean it with. This helped me.

"fouls" as in oil on the plug? If so you probably have bad valve seals or a blown head gasket.

how is your oil pressure??

Mine did the same thing and it was the cam bearings all spun. Hopefully this is not the case

Thanks for the info guys. I did the air control with no improvment. Checking compresstion today. No oil on pulg just carbon.

I just checked compresstion all had 130 psi. Did I mention the fuel fillter was so pluged I could not blow though it? It's been replaced. Also the tac stoped working. At high rev it coughs then rev's and coughs again.

The '92 5.2 I had once was acting at 160K miles, so I replaced Throttle body kicker and speed sensor. No luck. New computer fixed it (went with the Performance version).
