I'm looking for a program for my laptop that I can flash my computer with, its a 2001 4.7 auto
if anyone ha any info it would be greatly appreciated.

If you're looking for OBD-II code readers or scanners, look at www.obd-ii.com or autotap.com for some of the more popular ones. There are plenty out there with slightly different features.
If you're looking for something that remaps the computer, those tools are not available on a consumer level yet.

The story with the Mike Leach thing is a long one and there is some working relationship there because Mike is involved with the MP headers and had some connection with development of the MP PCMs. They can't do 2001 units at the moment, but should at some point in the future.
I can help you with a 2001 flash here in a couple of weeks if you have a need. The tune for a regular 4.7L is done and HO 4.7L is in th works, just have to wait for the next update before it is included in the software.

Name of which program? If you mean the reprogramming software, I'm not sure there is a name attached to it. It's an enhanced version of the same tools used by B&G. The stuff Leach uses is similar, though much older and does not include 2001 or later. This is an authorized, legitimate copy, BTW. No funny business with stolen code which has been a bit of a problem of late.
I posted in another thread that we should have the 4.7L stuff sometime next week which is a little earlier than I stated previously.
