Ok, so I dont ever think the one on the 93 dak has ever been changed. I am going to change it tomorrow and was wondering if I would notice a difference in performance after i install a new "stock" muffler. The current one is rusting to 5hit and wont past inspection. It has like 2 or three holes in it.
I dont have the cash right now for a flowmaster, but I will soon enough I hope (maybe in a couple months).

you wont notice an increase unless you get one that has better flow, the simple, $20 or $30 turbo mufflers are ok, they do give some power, but not enough to really feel it, and it wont be much louder

Well now I'll tell you what....I half believe that with a couple of HOLES in it I'd think that he was gettin' real good flow!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but wouldnt the holes mess up the compression...backflow, or whatever its called? I couldnt find a $20 - 30 muffler round here :(
Im just going to add the new stock on, and later this year get dual.

dj doesnt knwo what he is talking about, dont cut holes in the muffler or anything, check the summit catalog for their turbo mufflers, they run about $30+ shipping

well i got the muff. i need to install it tonight and go for a sticker tomorrow (also need a head light). End of summer if I have cash, I will have a new cat-back system (im thinking flowmaster because i have heard a lot of good things, but gibson is also a choice i can make).

Ok...i installed the new one....damn did i notice a difference. now i cant wait to get my cat-back system in a couple months....
My truck revs up higher now....a bit better performance, but not enough of a difference for me....hehe.
