Yup. The supercharged (Lightning) engine used to be a speacial order on those. Now a detuned version of the Lightning engine is standard.

345HP stock is pretty cool. I'm sure a change of the pulley may bring it up there with the Lightning.

That's an invalid comparison. You are comparing a supercharged performance truck to a normal one. Also, the Harley is damned expensive. Think it starts at 38k. Nice truck though. I love the silver/black two tone paint job.

I doubt you'll be seeing 14's with it right away, last time I went to the track there was an 02 lightning that couldnt even hit 14.2, hahaha.

Join the club, I have an 01 R/T and a 02 Harley. I ran a 14.4 in phoenix with my Harley stock with only 1200 miles on her. After a 6# lower pully, chip and a filter($500 in mods total) I ran a 13.3 in the Phoenix heat. I am in the San Francisco bay area now and want to run her to see if being at sea level will get me closer to the 12s. I didn't pay 38k, I paid less than 33k, just for comparison they are selling Hemi Express Rams here that sticker for 37k, but they marked them up to 41k and they won't deal. These Hemi Express trucks(all quad cab 2X4s) are at Fairfield Dodge in Fairfield Ca., give them a call. They come with a skirt package, bed cover, 20s and leather, they're nice but I like my R/T better. By the way my R/T is a high 13 in Phoenix but feels a little stronger here in the Bay area. I love both my trucks, so please don't flame.

Those trucks are nice if I could afford it I would rather be driving a ford lighting, but my dak is the next best thing.

I have no problems with L's or Harleys, both nice trucks. I could have gotten an L, but I love the Dakotas, used to have a '93 and I've loved the GenIII's since the first one I saw. I love anything that's fast and has had some work put into it, but I'll keep driving my Dak :)

all ford lightnings are are v8 f-150's with windup toys...the only reason ford soups them up at the factory is because ford truck owners dont know what they are doing...

Those comments about Ford owners not knowing how to work on their trucks isn't fair, I wrenched on my R/T to get her into the 13s.
