Hey guys, my engine light came on and code p700(transmision) came up. On my 1st trip the dealer said truck was in limp mode stuck in 2nd gear and it was the transmission module. Well they fixed it and under warranty but on my way home the light came on so i went back and this time the service manager charged me $70.00 because the computer was not stock and modified by kenne bell and claims thats the problem, the two are not workn together cause there different and hes charging me and not DC cause i altered the computer. He didnt want to hear nothn about the law or consumer rights he says its not the stock computer and thats the bottom line, WHAT CRAP! What gets me is the truck was modified the 1st time there and now its not covered and they never warned me of a bill, so i had to pick it up and leave while in limp mode cause they wont fix it!

I thought the Bell super charger for the 4.7L was approved by DC and you can get them from Mopar performance.

Well the dealer claims if i have the pcm reflashed to stock , or buy a new one from them(yea right!) they will fix the tranny. I dont know if i should go to a new dealer or back to him, cause bell has already reflashed the pcm to stock for right now.

I can understand your anger but why should DC cover a modified truck? Certain mods are OK but once you start fooling with the "brains" of the operation, you're taking your chances. Maybe next time, read the fine print.

FIND ANOTHER DEALER!!!!! there are cool ones out there!!
i fuxored my tranny, after the 50k extended warranty, they put in a NEW tranny, AND threw in a FREE 2400 stall converter, and didnt even charge me the $100 deductable... shop around dude.. if you dont like what he's saying .. do NOT be afraid to walk out. i had to go 100 miles out of my way to get to that dealer, but it was WELL worth it.

My Dealer knows I have the ASE Chip installed with the H.O. Intake and cams and headers.I ordered all this fron the Dealer"Jeep"also have the 70mm TB and the dealer did the 545 flash for the trans.
DCX came out with this TSB D-00-16 to cover their ass on the seven year warranty,any Performance Mods will and can VOID your Warranty even the one"s they sell and install.REMOVE THE BELL STICKER FROM YOUR PCM and take it to another shop.

It's the trans flash for the 2nd overdrive for the 45rfe they flash the TCM and there's a TSB for it just call your local five star dealer.

if you have to drive the truck, get up to your cruising speed, put it in neutral and shut the truck off. then start the truck back up and put it in gear, it should go to third and OD. Just a little trick i found out on my mom stratus a while ago.
