 Subject: 3.92 gears from Ebay?

I bought a set of 3.92 gears from Ebay. Seller said the gears only had 15 miles on them. Got them for under $80 shipped. However, after inspecting them, I noticed a few issues. What do you guys think about it? Should I install these or not? Every where else appears to be fine.

Well, after consulting with the shop foreman at my cousin's Dodge dealership, it looks like I bought an $80 door stop. He said the big gash (A) is from cutting the bearing off. He wouldn't recommend installing them because that gash may have weakened the shaft and cause it to break under heavy load.
Dang. I should've known. Generally you get what you pay for.

i don,t think the gash will hurt or weaken it,
but they are going too howl.if the bearing had been burnt off,it should have been blueing around the gash caused from heat.
if you chose not to use them,i,d give you $40 and take them.
