Message:
I went and Dyno'd my truck again after adding some thing's, and here is what happened.

BEFORE
276.2 TQ
263 HP

I then added 21lb injectors, 4.10 gears and trac-loc. I also got rid of the K&N GEN II filter and went with a stage III INTENSE PERFORMANCE. I also added a Split Sec controller, and I went from a 255/50/17 too 275/55/17. (27' tire to 29' tire).

Now I have these numbers.

AFTER
253 HP
255 TQ

WTF happened?

Thanks,
FROG

Was the weather different?

I didnt do any clacs but did the taller tires take away form the 4.10,s?

Was there time for the PCM to learn the mods?

Just food for thought.

It's the gears. Lower gears will make your dyno #s worse.Read it in a magazine.

I had 3:55's and 27" tire's and then changed to 4:10 and 29.1" tires. Stock was 28" tires. My calc was that by going to 27" with stock gears, my ratio was 3.64's and now by going to 29" tires and 4.10's, I should be in the 3:90 range. I don't understand.

Culd the tranny be killing it?
