I'm sure some of you will know this. When I install the new throttle body that I hope to get will it increase the noise my truck makes similar to when you upgrade the exhaust? I mean should I expect a much larger sound when I have the throttle wide open as well as when it's idling? You can tell I'm new at this. Thanks.

I just put a Fastman throttle body on my '99 5.2 about 2 weeks ago. I can't hear any difference. I have the K&N Gen II and it was a little noisier than stock but the throttle body didn't make it any louder to me (of course I am old and probably can't hear worth a darn).

I just put my new throttle body on today. No difference in noise at all. But boy was it worth it!!!!!!
