well i just want everyones opinion on something.
i have a 2001 r/t that im maybe planning on putting 1000 dollars in mods soon i already have a k&n cold air autolite 3923 and a flowmaster 40 series muffler and was gonna get some msd or accel plug wires. what else should i put on my truck to make it faster. i need something that i could do myself , i know just the basics when it comes to automobiles. but i know how to put something back on just how it came off. ive heard about throttle bodies and intake im sure i could do that . i want a substantial improvement from what i have now, i know 1000 dollars may not be enough for sustantial gains but i just want basically all i can get for that money without messing with the drivability or reliability of my truck cause it is a daily driver. thanks for any helpful replies.

Headers are great for sound and low-mid range power, properly gasketed and torqued the headers are good, usually suggested to be retorqued once after you install them. The PCM should be adaptable from 2000 but I'm not too sure on that, but I have been told that is why they havent released the 2001. Go with even a jet stage II, but you'll need the 180 thermostat and 92+ octane.

Try a FB Throttlebody (Billet 48mm) or even a fastman TB, U will feel the gains!
