First you need the URL of the picture. In this example it is
http://military-graphics.net/b1/b1_low.jpg
Ahead of the URL you type this < img src=
except you delete the space between the symbol and img.
after the URL you type this symbol >
When it's done it looks like this...
(img src=http://military-graphics.net/b1/b1_low.jpg)
except you replace the parenthesis with the angled symbols

My fav, I don't think you're getting the whole URL. It should end with .jpg or .gif or something like that.
Mouse over the picture you want to post and right click, then select 'properties'. The URL should be there.
Also, when you preview your post the picture should show up, if not, something's wrong.
