The best thing to do is not dump a sh!t load of cash into that DOdGe and go trade for a better performer out of the box. Anything Chevy or Ford will do.

Is you Durango a 4x4 if so thats why. I have a 2wd Durango and the only pickup truck that has beat me is a new Hemi Ram. I ran a 10.21 at 70 mph in the 8th and haven't come across a 5.3 or 5.7 chevy that can take me.

My best time in the 1/8th was something like 9.32 @ 77 MPH...yeah, that's it (I think). I'm pretty sure that was my 14.52 1/4 run as well...

seen a stock 99(lower hp model) RC 5.3 run a 15.6. 00's and up have 10 more hp I believe. A stock durango will not beat that. Too much weight and not enough hp. A stock durango will not beat a stock RC 5.3 of any year.
