It's a pyramid shaped block of metal that goes in the bottom of the M-1 intake to increase mid range torque.

It is for the M1 intake, it helps direct the flow of air into your intake. It's basically a small pyramid shaped device that mounts on the bottom of the manifold. This helps offset some of the loss of low end torque you usually get when going from a dual plane intake to a single plane. It increases low-mid range and may slightly reduce upper top end.
