Subject: Why no turtle for h.o. manifold

Message:
I skipped the manifold and went with the cams only, as we all know the 4.7 lacks in the low end not in the top end. Anyways, after doing some research it appears the M-1 and H.o. manifolds have fairly similar effects on the 5.9 and 4.7 respectively, it also appears that many of you utilize a "turtle" on the M-1 to reduce the loss in low end yet still take advantage of the top end, my question is can a "turtle" be utilized with the h.o. manifold?

You need to do a little reading on intake manifold basics and look at the differences between the manifold on the 4.7 and the manifold on the LA motor.

Two entirely different beasts with two entirely different designs.

Too hard to explain here.....

Just run a search on "Intake Manifolds- Wet" and "Intake Manifolds- Dry" and read that. Don't do the seach here, because this place has never touched on that stuff. Search on Google.
