I was wondering if the 6al will trip my engine light? I'm sure that many people on this sight have put it on their own truck so I'm sure someone would know. And if anyone could tell me how to put it on that would be nice. Are the directions straight forward? I have also looked at the MSD Stacker ignition that they have but I would have to order that. I would rather be able to get th ignition that they have at Checkers or Autozone.

My 6a trigged a trouble code until I installed the $28 tach adapter. I believe the 6al needs the Tach adapter also.

I never had a check engine light from mine and I don't have a tach adapter.

MSD 6AL, SS blaster coil, 8.5mm wires, Accel cap and rotor, autolite 3923 plugs, K&N FIPK, 180 degree T-stat. Gibson single CAT-back, Carsound CAT, MOPAR PCM. Crower 1.7 RR's, F&B 50mm TB, M1 intake and turtle, Black Magic 150 electric fan, JBA ceramic coated headers, JBA Y-Pipe
