What?? That all depends on the stall speed of the converter. I have never heard of a "stall converter" so I guess you mean something about changing the stall speed. A higher stall speed will get you out of the hole a little quicker and may change your time, or it may not. That depends on your total setup, tranny gears, rear gear/open/closed differential etc. You really need to be more specific in your question.

Aggie...also depends alot on what mods you have currently. I had everything you see on my profile except I used to have a Mopar 2400 stall but that was still too low of a stall. I recently switched to the Precision Industries Viper 2800 stall converter and noticed a big change. It did help me get out of the hole alot better w/o the bog that the 2.02 heads gave me, now it skips straight to my powerband which is around 3000 & up.

Again it just depends on your mods...but also keep in mind of your future mods, too.

I also used to have the mopar converter and now have the PI Viper. You will probably see a tenth improvement in the 1/8 with stock mtr. Just depends on you combo. If you have a wild set up and your running the stock TC then you will see a large improvement and a huge improvement with the Viper. I never liked my mopar TC the Viper is the best all around.

The mopar 2400 TC knocked 2/10s off my 60 time with the same tires. I went from a 14.4 to a 13.9, this was not complety from the TC but also from cooler weather, and a few other minor tricks. But I think it is good for at least a 1/10 on your times.

R/Truck you have the 4.56's right? Man I can't even imagine how badass your truck would be w/ the PI converter PLUS the 4.56 gears DAMN that'd be awesome!

I had my doubts about it till I actually got it on my truck, it was like a huge compliment to all the mods I had done. I'd never go back to the 2400 again.

No I don't have the 4.56 gears yet, the group buy thing kind of busted out. I have driven an R/T with 4.56 gears and basically you could not get a full throttle in under 30 mph, it's virtually impossible. Can't imagine having the TQ on top of that, you would need slicks for sure. You said you would never go back to 2400 again, what do you have now?

I have heard good things about that one, but it's just a little bit more $ then the mopar. So you like it a lot more then the old one? Did you see any gains on paper?

Sure its a bit more than the Mopar I had a little hard time w/ the price too but when u get it on there you can see why its that much.

I punched it at a stoplight the other day WOT and I had to let out of it I was about to go sideways it was like I just turned on a 150 shot of nitrous or somethin.

And no I got the truck back right after the dyno day ended last weekend so I'll have to wait for another one...can't wait though.

My last pull before the new converter was 309rwhp & 354rwtq. I know I have more than that now for sure...hope I'm not disappointed.

I'll keep you posted on the new #'s.
