What brand t-stat is the best, in 180. All i seem to be able to find are hypertech.

Robert Shaw... it allow's coolant to flow to the heater core and through the radiator a little even when it's closed... prevents hot spots in the block which causes detonation and knock.. like none of us ever have a problem with that...

The part number for the Robert Shaw brand is GT755-180. You should be able to pick one up at most Auto Zones.

If I go with a 180 t-stat, what spark plugs should I get to go with it. I've heard that the stock spark plugs are crap with lower temps. I'm new to this whole "do-it-yourself" thing. Don't flame me, but how hard is it to change spark plugs, wires, and t-stat and do it right, I don't want to break anything...

Simple, just make sure you do one wire at a time, that way you don't jack up the firing order. All is cake provided you have the right tools.
