Alright, i am getting ready to buy an ignition system from MSD. The ignition system comes with everything pictured here. It comes with the ignition control, plug wires, and a cord.

But, i was going to get Bosch spark plugs/wires. Can i use those wires instead of the ones included in the package? And, will there be anything else i need? i heard i might need a distributor coil. Thanks,
Matt

i would use the 8.5mm MSD wires... they are a very tough wire. Mine will occasionally find their way to my turbo header and they still dont even get a black mark much less a burned wire.

...plus they have the least amount of resistance (ohms)of any wire

I have burned 2 sets of MSD wires because of headers. Good thing MSD makes self vulcanizing tape and kits for heat proofing wires. You shouldn't have to change the coil. Some MSD coils do require the use of the ignition box to use them though.
