Ok fellas...since you guys in here know your stuff, i need some advice..I'm selling my dakota and i need 2 find out a fair price to ask for. its a 99' R/T CC, Deep Amythest with 41k on the clock...extras include remote start, fiberglass cover, molded running boards (both colour matched), mopar pcm, and few more little add ons here and there. truck is very clean inside and out...i looked up price in NADA so i got a base price..but where i'm from not too many people know what these trucks are. they think the damn thing is 4-wheel drive...just want to get my moneys worth out of it...so shoot me with your guys opinions...thanks a bunch...

I would look at NADA black book vale, kbb.com retail and trade-in value and add in what the extras are worth...

remote start - maybe $150 adder if it has an alarm
Fiberglass tonneau - $300
Running Boards - $300
Mopar PCM - $100

etc... and use that as a starting price... I am trying to sell my truck right now too and I can tell you that the used car market sucks, at least in NE... But this is due to rates and incentives being so good on the 2003's.

Good Luck,
Chris

sounds like you're in Canada also...by the
spelling of "colour" I gave up on selling my
dak (01 4.7 CC) and just traded it in. They
only gave me $13,000 for it (28,000 miles,
shaved lowered, exhaust, system) I recently
saw it at a used car lot for sale for $13,999 I
figured at least I have the satisfaction of
knowing they got the shaft and had to end up
auctioning it to a used car lot. The major
things that add to a used cars value is custom
wheels and alarm. everything else is pretty
much junk as far as KBB is concerned.

good luck selling it. make sure you do sell it
before the dakota is facelifted cause then it
will really look like old news!

If you dont have a warranty or a butt load of mods.
I have a 2000 CC, black,20k, the whole Mopar perfomance catalog installed, tonneau, etc. The truck is showroom condition!! I cant even get $15k out of it.
You'd be lucky to get $13k.
