Hey guys I'm new to Dakota's. I'm looking at a '98 SLT 2wd RC 5.2 auto right now and I'm looking to sell my '98 Camaro. The Camaro is just getting boring, it has NO ground clearance, no room, and it's not a V8 :D If I get this Dakota oen of the first things I was going to do was install the R/T suspension, I have a few Q's about it.
1. What brand of shocks should I go with, stock?
2. I hear it lowers the truck an inch all the way around, right?
3. Will I see a big difference in handling? I hear the R/T's handle like they're on rails.

Dustin,
There is an R/T suspension on ebay right now
stock shocks included. It will lower a stock
dakota 1" all around. It handles better than
stock. But if handling is your goal I would
go with a Hotchkis TVS.
