In my opinion this is crap. On 28 March 2003 California will try to pass this bill, which will require cars from 1959 and newer to get smog tested. This better not pass because most people who actually have restored and fixed up their pre 74 hot rods will have to take them in to get smogged. The only way to not let this bill pass is people have to go vote no on this. If anything pass the word around. I've attached the link that will take you to the bill so you can read it. It’s Bill 708. That sux soooo bad. You know how many people are gonna be pissed off ?! I dont live in CA or own an old car but I can totally relate. So much for the Grandfather Clause.
I`d love to hook up a diesel exhaust pipe to the offices in the EPA and fill it with black smoke.
They want old cars to pass then they should pay for the tune ups.
Bastards.
