Whatever you get... R/T or Hemi, get an ATI Procharger.
It runs more boost, cooler, and is intercooled. Also, it's
in the same price range as a paxton and what not. good
luck either way

Weight, no aftermarket, and problems still being worked out. RWHP is only around 280, and with its weight, I will be stuck at 15.5 for god knows how long.
Rod,
Question still stands. Will it work on a 2003? All SC's I have found only say xxxx-2001. I will look into the procharger. Thanks.

The KB for the hemi is intercooled too.
2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Magnaflow catback, Kenne Bell s/c.

So I'm guessing nobody knows? Can someone tell me what the difference is between the 2001 and 2003 5.9 engine/engine bay? Don't understand why it would fit on a 2001 and not a 2003. Thanks

Give the techs a call, Paxton, Vortech, Kenne Bell, ATI...
Ask them what the differences are, and if they can give you the answers, and the changes are minimal, get the kit.
You could also get a tuner kit. Brackets, hoses, fittings, etc... May have to do a little custom work, but it shouldn't be much. It's usually little things like cruise control module is located in a different spot, a heater line is moved a hair for better clearance, etc.. There shouldn't be anything that's changed enough not to be able to run the kits.
Give Vortech a call, I'm pretty sure they'll sell you a complete kit. There are a couple of '02 360's running around with S-trims and SQ-trims.
My Paxton kit says it's for a 2001-2002 Durango/Ram. I've got a 2000 Dakota.
Do a little digging, something will turn up.

The differnce is in the set up for the computer and not the engine bay. I have a 2002 and nothing for my truck is out yet. Nothing for the 2001 and down fits

Doesn't the FMU and timing electronics defeat the computer anyway? I guess I'll start calling the companies tomorrow. It was to be my last resort. Thanks for the help, though. I am leaning towards the ATI, but still have no idea what I'll end up with.
notch, any updated track times yet? How is it running now?

Nothing too hot to mention right now, but this is the only mod on the truck.
14.0 @ 99mph traction limited.
Going tomorrow night, if the weather pans out on some M/T ET Streets. I'm hoping for 13.7-13.8's.
It is in need of some fatter injectors and a good tune to maximize it's current state. I'll post up the results tomorrow night if I'm able to run.

Get a 4.7. The 5.9 has been discontinued anyway, why get the last leftover engines?
Pretty soon the only place for 5.9 parts will be the antique store :-) j/k
