Gotta 1999 Dakota sport with a 3.9l V6. The low-end on it is terrible. It just don't seem to wanna gain much speed through the lower RPM'S. What can I do to help this problem? I've thought about a supercharger or a computer chip like the "Venom" chip, but thought I'd ask you guys first. Yes, I realize my best bet would be to get a V8 Dakota, but I guess I'll make do with what I got.

Thanks, Seth

I'd go with a gear swap. That is the most noticable mod for low end. A 3.92 gear will dramatically help acceleration in low rpm. You'd be surprised what a difference it makes! I'd say good for at least a few tenths in the quarter.
