I can get a used mopar performance computer from a 95 dodge ram with a 5.9 engine and auto tranny for pretty cheap. Will this work on my 97 4x4 dakota with 5.2/ automatic??? or can I make it work??

from my experience, the pcm from the 95 ram is not obd-II. and the one in your dak is. my understanding is the plugs might be different and the dlc for the ram is underthe hood and in 96 it went to underneath the knee blocker in the cab and your dak is the same way. dont hold me 2 this. just my .02.
