Message:
I know about the tv cable adjustment up by the throttle body, but is there anyway way to make shifts later by adjusting the linkages on the transmissions or any other way? I installed the transgo kit, and would like the shifts to be a little later within having to drop the pan. Thanks in advance.

Is there a reason you want higher shifts? If you have a stock 5.9L you peak horse power is 4000-4400 rpms and your stock shift point is 4800. Having it shift at 4800 rpms keeps your shifting at peak horsepower after up shifting. Anything high will just waste gas and make noise.

The shifting is partially controlled by the PCM and tranny pressure. The TV cable can increase your shifting firmness some, but at the risk of damaging it. I don't even think the PP3 adjusts shifting points, you'll need a custom PCM. Have you tried column shifting? If you think it performs better revving you engine to max limited RPM 5250, then by all means go for it.

Since you have a 2000, I think the Mopar PCM will help power plus increase shift points while raising your limiter to 6000rpm and the speed limit to some higher speed than needed :)

I have the M1, therefore I need to shift higher to make max power.

Buy a Mopar PCM, throw on some non-adjustable 1.7RR to increase lift or another cam. The stock cam power band is from idle to around 4000-4500 RPMS.
