Sounds about right:
Base Weight Regular Cabs
Ram=5000lbs est. with 345hp= Low 15's
Dak R/T=4000lbs est. with 245-250hp= Low 15's
with 300hp= Mid 14's
with 350hp= High 13's
Every 100lbs=10HP!

I read on another site where where a RC 1500 Hemi went 14.855 @ 93MPH. Not bad for a heavy truck.

Great, now I gotta start keeping an eye out for new 3/4 ton trucks :(

(old ones I already knew about, you can shove anything in a mid-late '70s GM truck)

Actually, from what I hear the 4x4 2500's weigh in at 6200 lb from the factory, and they are good for a 16 sec 1/4 mile (or there abouts).

The Reg Cab Short Beds are the ones that are goign 14.8's..... I saw that same post, and it sounded like the driver in that case didn't know what was up as far as racing. Put someone knowledgeable behind the wheel and lose some weight (half tank of gas, remove tailgate, remove spare, no stereo stuff), and then look for 14.3's or better. No problem.
