Not stroked and not some wierd moutain motor that is labeled a 360. Im Talking about a 5.9l 360 dakota, basically the same engine fuel injected and with diff set of internals and so forth?

I'm a little skeptical on that one. Says in his dragtruk profile that he hit the rev limiter not once, but twice in that quick run. Anybody familiar with the reve limiter knows it cuts fuel, meaning he was at full boost with the blower AND running nitrous when the computer shut the fuel off. That usually spells BOOOOM! That's stock bottom end, if the profile is correct. Another red flag.

I'm not saying he did or didn't really run those numbers, but it says he has a separate fuel system for the NOS, an MSD 6btm and a Mopar PCM. The PCM raises the rev limit to 6000 and he could have set the 6BTM to say 5900. As you know the MSD has a soft rev limiter which pulls spark. So he could have hit the rev limiter without scattering the motor. Just something to think about.

A Powerdyne powered CC at 4400 lbs. in the 11s(even factoring the juice)? It would be the first and only I've heard of, running easily a half second ahead of anybody else with a CC and they are using better quality blowers. He's still got factory heads, no aux fuel pump or FMU that he's posted, no converter, etc.
Stranger things have happened, but I'd want to see a timeslip.

Fourth line of mods "Holley black fuel pump for NOS setup" and the Powedyne come with a Aux. pump in the kit. Like I said I'm not saying he did or didn't run the numbers just that he didn't have to hurt the motor.

The Holley runs the NOS from the way I read it. The jets on the NOS are just for that, you still don't get fuel added to compensate for the blower running at 6 psi. IME, you would have to raise the fuel pressure to 80 psi or better and slam those injectors to have any hope of having enough fuel. No rising rate regulator or FMU listed. Could be an oversight. Still would take 500 HP on factory heads for the ET. Doesn't add up.
BTW, I missed the MP converter in the earlier post.

Speaking of whacko times... my 12.56 on the 150 shot... I filled the bottle again now that I have a gauge...
750 psi???? Ran the truck on the street... same perf. as when I ran the 12.56... Guess I need to get a warmer now, eh???

Duner, I think the guy is from Canada, perhaps BC. I seem to remember the NW group mentioning him sometime back, but nobody recalls seeing the pass. Guaranteed if the truck was that quick in Danno's backyard he would have noticed ;)
