Message: I just got back from the muffler shop and it feels like I lost some torque and feels like it bogs when I stomp on it. I had them dump my exhaust and remove the third cat on my 02 cc R/T.
It sounds like a beast but feels slower. What can I do to fix this? Will the pcm learn or will it stay this way? I have a magnaflow 1 in 2 out. Please help. thanks guys.
Message: It is slower. Your PCM does have to learn the new setup but by getting rid of the cat and dumping the exhaust, you've eliminated a ton of backpressure. It helps horsepower to a point but eliminating backpressure kills your torque.
