I am looking at the 16852 intake which is for the Durango but find no reason it should not fit the Dakota. Anyone use this, it should give you fresh air from along side the radiator not just the engine compartment as the 26852 does?

You didn't mention the year of your Dak. Just be careful. On the '00+ daks, the cruise control unit is there. I'm not sure if the box allows indepentant movement of the engine and the body fender. The engine will move separately of the fender. Best bet call up Volant. The techs can be very helpful.
