Anybody tried (or read any reviews) on this dual air intake (http://www.pro-zen.com )? Its definitely different than all the others but don't know if different makes it better. I kinda wonder if the air filters are positioned in the "cold" area for better efficiency.

Thanks

i was looking at these as well. the only reason i want to get one is it will be easy to make a dual scoop hood functional with this intake. i havent heard and reviews on them however.

This is nothing new, I had this set-up on my 95 ram. If you look in any of the truck mags ie; sport truck, street trucks etc. you will see an ad for this type of intake. I'm thinking the companys name was rocket? they also make their own line of highflow filters wich comes with it. As far as performance I could tell I was getting better air volume but never had the ram dyno'd afterwards. you might look for their ads and check them out. hope this helps a little.

I've heard about these as well. As for "cold", without a modified hood, your probably not going to get cold air. However, air volume would most likely be increased over stock. I'm looking into something similar, but not sure if I want to incorporate modified hood due to expense.

cudashoe got one of their intakes. From what I understand he really likes it. He also had a non-functional ram-air hood that he cut out to make functional. I guess the filters sit right where the cut outs would be.

You might want to get in touch with him for more info.

I had a cowl induction hood on my ram when I used it and it also made the air openings instantly useable.

What's a good ram air hood to use with that intake and how does water not get into the throttle body?
