I bought a set two years ago, it took 4 months to get them, they are expensive as you probably already know, the install was very easy took about 6 hours and a trip to the muffler shop to finish things up. be sure to check on the high-flow converter, the only downside is that you will lose low-end torque when you pull your stock manifolds off and replace them with headers, but the top end power is worth it if you have the right equipment on your truck

Actually I know nothing of these, I have an oppertunity to buy a set for about $200 bucks. But they are for a Ram. Do you know if they will fit and what they retail for.

I paid 750 dollars for mine, as for fit it depends on your engine, if its say a 99 ram and you have a 99 dakota they should fit the engine, but I don't know about the truck. Mine were the short type which didn't take much more room than the manifolds. If you get a chance while your modding your exhaust, get rid of the stock converter and put a high performance in, you can get these from random technology, and better exhaust from there back to get the full potential of the headers

The Mesa headers are an excellent setup. When Mesa went under a couple of years back, Kenne Bell bought up the remaining stock and has been selling them. I heard they were about out and after that, no more.

There is a new header on the horizon that is quite similar to the Mesa, except that it is fit to the R/T head(ports are slightly higher) and the price will be much more reasonable. These will be made for the Dakota apps. Cost should be around ~$400. I'm anxiously awaiting the release. John Mercedes at southeastrt.com is driving the project. You might want to check with him on availability.
