PO355 Ignition Coil E Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

Does anybody know exactly what this means is wrong? I put the HO cams in my 4.7 yesterday, and I'm getting this code. It's idling real rough. It stalled a couple of times last night. I haven't actually driven it because I wasn't sure it was safe. I'm also getting a sound, kinda like a vacuum leak or a squeaky belt. Dunno what it could be either. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

sounds like you have the coil plugins wrong, one is not on correctly, bad plug. since you did cams, you must have something crossed pertaining to electrical in the plugs dept.

Well, I took all the coil packs and plugs off the truck, one at a time, and checked them...then I put it all back together...same thing...rough idle, sounds and feels like it's not running on all 8 cylinders. I took it to the dealer so that I could at least get it fixed. Even if I have to pay, maybe they won't notice the cams being different...then it should be covered under waranty

May have damaged the cam sensor or one cam may be off by a tooth..... how did it do driving to dealer? If the cams are off a tooth, you may have to admit what you did.....

Actually I was only at 95 inch pounds (the highest my small torque wrench goes). It recommends 100 inch pounds. I'm gonna have to make some major cash somehow in the next couple of days!!!

Well, it turned out that it was a burnt valve...I dunno about that one, but it's not gonna cost as much to fix and I had previously thought. Luckily, the cam is alright and I'll have my power back tomorrow!

Sounds like you knocked off a rocker on that cylinder on the install. Easy to do, I should know.
If it was the Exhaust you knocked off, that could be a real prob. So who found the broken stud? And you need a new head?(on the 4.7, not yours) Can you grab any of the stud? An extractor? I thick thats a first, a 4.7 with a burnt valve! That's why I think a rocker came off first.

I just got home from a trip. We checked and rechecked all the rockers before we started her up. Mechanic found everything. I got the truck back last Friday, wow!!! I like these cams. Took a trip to Kentucky, and the power up the hills was great!

No, actually, I got about 50-60 more miles on the last 4 tanks of gas. That's mixed highway and city driving. The numbers could have been higher if it were all highway miles.
