did a search lookin at past posts on roller rockers i noticed rtkota and others saying that crower kit came with longer pushrods...

so i compared the pushrods that came with my mopar 1.7 kit and i found that the stock pushrods on my 5.9 were about 1/4 inch longer than the ones that came with the mopar performance 1.7 kit??
anyone know why is that and should i get longer pushrods...

Mopar Roller Rockers require smaller pushrods due to the increase rocker size and to keep the correct angle or pitch.

YUP-- you got it...

Crower can use stock pushrods, or if you rev past 5500 rpm, .050" longer or 6.950" stockers are 6.900"

Always make sure you match parts (rockers, studs, pushrods) with your application!

cool thanx

my god they are nice i had this tic tic tic tic on my 5.9 from day one with the stock rockers now it sounds healthy and sweet.. my first impression is the truck is waaaaaay smother and quieter

tip to all you gear heads is let idle for a minute then adjust lash then let idle again then adjust one more time and lock... with valve cover off there is no oil splatter at all
