Subject: Spark Plugs ? again?
IP: Logged

Message:
I am currently running autolite 3923's and I ran them at .045 becauseI run an MSD 6A and SSBlaster Coil. I was wondering. Since I start running a big Cam and Fully ported and polished set of Heads. Should I bring the gap back down to Stock or lower? I read that if NOS or Blwer is used that it goes the other way. I was thinking since I probably sit somewhere in the middle of it all, I should go back to .040. Any suggestions would be great.

Happy Turkey Day.

The coil should allow you to open the gap but the MSD 6A is a multi spark box and you should use a tight gap (.35-.40) to get a good spark. Also mutli sparks run a hotter plug temp so you might want to run a 3922 and change them more often.
