I have a 2000 r/t , Supercharged , Thinking about doing more , Like a 408 , But i hav already trashed the trans once , Actually wiped out the 2nd gear apply band , Is there any upgrades you can do to the trans and what kind of power can the stock trans take ?? Thx

The trans you have is a 46re , a 727 with overdrive and some electronics. The 727 could be built to handle 1000 hp!!! Blown 426 ci hemi!!!

In the October 1998 issue of HIGH PERFORMANCE MOPAR there is an article on heaving up the A-518.The company that did the build up is called LEVEL10 and their phone number is listed as 973-546-8200.

Look at www.apsperformance.com they have a lot of great parts and will take care of you...they can build a tranny and have some awesome upgrades for the 518. Accumulators, bands etc.
