the throttle body is for a multi point fuel injected engine, Do you have multipoint fuel injection?????? If you have TBI with a fuel injector or two in it NO as you will have no way to get gas into the engine, same goes for a carborated engine, If you decide to buy one anyway, the installation will require major fuel system changes as well as a new intake manifold, and a new computer, wiring harness, and who knows what else. It can be done, just not on the cheap, I have heard that due to the magnum heads on the newer engines, the intake manifold will not fit properly to the older style heads either plus the cam bore is in a different place( more distance from the crankshaft to allow for the redesigned cam followers, If you want to do this it might be easier to go to a boneyard and get a magnum engine, then convert from there. Most parts from pre-magnums are not usable in magnums and vice versa.

umm... isnt a "TBI with a fuel injector or two in it" as you said, a carburator? (sp).. mine is fuel injected. i dont know if theres a difference in electronic fuel injection (Efi) and multi point fuel injection, if there is, please tell me what the difference is. so.. i already have all the stuff, computer, intake manifold, ect, ect. now where can i buy a 52mm throttle body. oh yeah, and what would be better, 50mm or 52? i know shelby made a hop-up kit for my dakota, one of the mods that came with it was a throttle body for a 360 (mines a 318).

Throttle Body Injection, which you likely have if your fuel injected, has an injector inside the throttle body itself. No, it's not the same as a caburator.

Multiport Fuel injection has individual injectors for each cylinder, and not in the throttle body itself.
