I have a 2001 QC 4.7 with 32000 miles. It has become slower. I change the oil every 3000 and did the plugs 10000 miles ago. I think its the tranny. Has anyone else come across this problem ?

Unplug your battery, turn your ignition to the on position. Leave to 10-15min, hook up the battery and go drive and give it some wot runs. Some times it's best to have your PCM relearn engine and driving patterns.

You'll need to be more specific on your question.
What is it that you notice thats not normal, if anything the engine should be producing more power at 30k than it did at 10k due to less friction from tight parts. Is it not shifting hard, seems slower, what?

Seems like I have to give it more gas to get to
the same speed as when I pressed the pedal
half way down.

I also have a 2001 QC w/4.7 i noticed the same thing. Mine seem to have changed the way the truck shifts but the motor seem fine. I am going to take it to dealership and have it looked at, if something is wrong the warraty should take care of that.
